Officer Marc Storms



Officer Marc Storms has been with the Montoursville Police since 2002 and is the department’s School Resource Officer. He graduated from South Williamsport Area High School, as well as Mansfield University's Municipal Police Academy and the Drug Abuse Resistance Education Instructor’s school.

Officer Storms presently teaches the D.A.R.E. program at the Montoursville Area Middle and Elementary Schools. During the school year, Officer Storms can be found at the Montoursville Area High School, Middle School and Elementary Schools patrolling the halls keeping our kids safe. During the summer months, Officer Storms is assigned to bicycle patrol throughout the borough and Indian Park.

Officer Storms is a counselor with the Lycoming County Police Camp Cadet program that is held at the Little League World Series complex in June. Camp Cadet is a camp program for girls and boys to learn about what a police officer's job is all about.

Officer Storms was elected in 2007 to the position of Sergeant At Arms of the Pennsylvania D.A.R.E. Officers Association.
