Officer Rod Smith has been a part-time officer with the Montoursville Police Department since 1995. Rod also is currently employed as a full-time officer with the Hughesville Police Department holding the rank of Corporal and Officer In Charge of the department. Prior, Rod was employed by the Pennsylvania College of Technology, Bloomsburg University and Millville Police Departments.

During his off time, Rod enjoys hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and spending time with his family.
